Junior Competition - the LTA's Big Push! Perhaps the AELTC haven't been told - rumour has it that the Boys and Girls events are being moved out to the NTC Roehampton because of the rain-delayed programme at the Championships. Any comments?
try using the blog for clubhouse discussion topics such as :
'whatsyoursurface?' astroturf v. hard v. clay - pros and cons of diff surfaces - what's your favourite?
'matchtalk -'tips and tricks of getting the best out of your fixture against other clubs - in a sporting way of course!
'clique-off' - most clubs have a group of match players and a group of club players - bringing 'them' and 'us' together can be fun - your experiences
'mental mental chicken oriental' - ever noticed that temperament & mood affects the outcome of a point far more than how hard you hit the ball - the inner game of tennis - tips for good karma on court.
This was filmed at Royal Ascot's finals day. I was taking some video of the men's doubles final. Suddenly the ball started coming towards me! You can see the result here.

What else could the AELTC do?
Got to get the matches done somehow and obviously the adults takes priority.
Anyway looks like the junior are now back on the outside courts.
